Paul Carson

Paul Carson is a Belfast-based DJ and producer who has spent more than twenty years in electronic music, and it shows in his sets: oldskool hardcore and 90s rave, jungle and drum and bass, hardstyle and hard trance, and all-vinyl clubland classics. In his own words: “I make and play the music I love rather than following trends.”

Recent dates include taking over the decks from the legend Joey Beltram at The Ultimate 90s Rave at SWG3, Glasgow, DJing with Love Decade (1st November 2025); Love Decade’s Unfazed 90s Day Rave at Bee Noir, Manchester (7th February 2026); Past Present & Future with QFX at The Grand Social in his hometown of Bangor (5th April 2026); an oldskool hardcore set to a packed dancefloor at the Skylite Rooms, Warrenpoint (22nd May 2026); and a two-hour set at The Grand Social on 30th August 2026.

Radio is a big part of the story. Paul hosted weekly shows on UK Flava FM and Elevate UK from December 2024 to July 2025, and on Wk-end Radio from April to September 2025. In August 2025 he founded his own station, Numero Uno Radio, and hosted shows on it into 2026. Along the way, the legendary John B recorded a jingle for his show.

In the studio he works across vocal trance, progressive, acid, breakbeat and jungle. His releases include Storm Chasers (LVLD Music, 2024), She Moved Through The Fair (Neostatics Sounds, 2024), The Guvnor with Lost In Bass (LVLD Music, 2025), The Love Of Yesterday (Soundserfing Records, 2025) and What Does It Feel Like? (ARTISTPORTAL, 2026). The Jungle EP came out on 12-inch vinyl on his own label, Kus Records, in February 2025. He also made what is probably the only 175 BPM jungle bootleg of the Sex Pistols’ “Anarchy in the U.K.”, because one didn’t exist for him to play in a set.
